Not everyone knows we have passes to state parks and the Children’s Museum of Oswego available to borrow for a week.

If our pass is out, the cost at CMOO is $8 per person — EBT cardholders $3 per person (max 4 people).

We also have cake pans and Chromebooks with mobile hotspots that go out for longer! Chromebook & Hotspot drawing

Literacy Volunteers provides reading and math help to adults.

Curbside Service is currently available during the following hours:

Monday – 9:00am to 7:00pm

Tuesday – 9:00am to 6:00pm

Wednesday – 9:00am to 7:00pm

Thursday – 9:00am to 6:00pm

Friday – 9:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

During this time, you can call the library to place holds on books, schedule times to pick up books you have reserved, pick up crafts from the Children’s Room, get files printed or pages copied, request tax forms, and so forth.

The Children’s Program Story Hours will also be posted online on both our website as well as our Facebook page. These are posted every Monday between 9am and 10am. Crafts that go along with these story hours can be picked up via curbside service, though we ask that you call ahead so we can get your crafts prepared for you.

Printing and copying is currently available to patrons, though you must call the library to set up sending your files to us via email. We are currently printing up to 10 pages per week per patron at no charge. Please be sure to state your name and phone number in your email to us as well for logging purposes.

We are now able to process faxes for patrons! One fax per week may be sent at no charge.

Books By Mail

North Country Library System provides a wide variety of materials including large print books, books on audio cassette, and books on CD. Items can be mailed directly to eligible individuals at no charge. Any person over the age of 62, those with physical issues and unable to visit a public library, those with hearing difficulties, those with visual difficulties, and residents of institutions all qualify. To Request Items

  1. Go to www.ncls.org
  2. Login using your library card number and PIN (last 4-digits of your telephone number). Search for material.
  3. To narrow the search results use the search limits in the left column.
  4. Click on the title for more information or click on Place Hold to request the item.
  5. Select the library where you would like to pick up the item.
  6. Click: Place Hold. You are done!

Oswego Public Library History Book available for Purchase

We have a wonderful novel available for purchase here at the library that chronicles the foundation and historical events that have happened here in our library. It can be purchased for $5.00.
